Real estate portal Magicbricks has released its survey on housing loans.

According to this survey, consumers are now giving maximum preference for housing loans for up to 10 years. 500 people were included in this survey.

In a statement, the company said, “Home buyers are the most preferred for ten years up to 10 years and 26 per cent said yes.

This is followed by 10-15 years (25 per cent) and 15-20 years (23 per cent). About 16 percent people said that they would like to take a loan for more than 25 years while only 10 percent said that they would like to take a loan for 20-25 years.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Magicbricks Sudhir Pai said about the survey report, “With the average home loan interest rate being between 6.65-6.90 per cent, borrowers want to repay their loan as quickly as possible.”

FISME (Federation of Indian Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises), a body of micro, small and medium industries, suggested the central and state governments to ‘allow MSMEs to supply goods to their homes during the lockdown’.

The organization says that this will help the sector sustain its livelihood during the Kovid-19 crisis and accelerate growth. He said that there are about 6.3 crore Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India which are the backbone of the economy.

The second wave of the pandemic has severely affected the region. FISME (Federation of Indian Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises) said in a statement, “At such times we request the Central and State Governments to announce guidelines that will help in sustaining the livelihood of MSMEs.

The organization also suggested removal of ‘artificial distinction’ between essential and non-essential items and suggested allowing MSMEs to sell all products only through ‘home delivery’.

According to the statement, “This measure will help in ensuring continuity of jobs and economic activity.” There will be no restriction on intra-state or intra-state movement of goods.

No separate permission/e-pass is required for this type of movement. FISME also said that states should treat e-commerce delivery personnel as ‘frontline workers’ and prioritize their vaccination.
